Have ANY journalists asked Mike Johnson, on camera, why the fuck he doesn’t ever know anything? How can the entire rest of the country be fully aware of things Mike hasn’t “seen” or “read” yet? Is he THAT busy maintaining the Rube Goldberg machine of government at all times? He’s THAT preoccupied?

This was my exact experience with Xenogears. The end of disc 1 is dungeon-after-dungeon, the story just keeps ADDING questions and, and by disc 2 you’re beat nearly to death. Then they just give you hours of answers without any struggle. It’s like a full meal of dessert! It’s wonderful.
Dude, I am so glad I'm not alone. From what I heard of Disc 2, I was expecting something terrible. But as a huge fan of visual novels, I actually really enjoyed Disc 2's storytelling. In fact, after how long Disc 1 was, I lowkey felt a bit relieved.

My comfort game. What’s a comfort game? It’s a game that gives the player a sense of security and tranquility. It has a lot to do with nostalgia and the longing / fond memories of the past, this game triggers dopamine.
EarthBound will always be one of my biggest comfort games, for many reasons.

Continuity between Bond eras is a ridiculous goal with zero payoff. Look at Diamonds are Forever. OHMSS ended on a heartfelt moment, a tragic death. And then Diamonds created “continuity” in the most ham-fisted manner possible, shattering any sense of sincerity or subtlety. Series doesn’t need it.

Love the Alien franchise, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed basically everything that’s come from it other than Resurrection. And the AVP movies. But I would absolutely love a movie or a series set in the Alien universe that doesn’t even for ONE SECOND touch on Xenomorphs or the black goo or horror at all.

I got a hair up my ass about my PlayStation trophies. Noticed I had two platinums I didn’t remember acquiring, turns out they were for Jak 1 and Sly 1 on PS3. So I decided to platinum hunt the other two Jak games, the other two Sly games and all 3 Ratchet games.
