Still me, just over here now. Still hipster about unicorns. Still HR fairy. Way more hair than gender. My chosen pronouns are the definite article.
#exercise I went to my first (almost certainly only!) spin class last night and today I can neither walk NOR sit.

Okay, is The War Between The Land And The Sea queer or am I just assuming that because Russell Tovey?

What if I have two weeks left of work this year, and so much time-critical work that I truly, TRULY don't know where to start? (We have a Festive Day tomorrow, which is technically a no work day, but I absolutely do NOT have time for a whole day of no work.)

Titanique! The weirdest, gayest show ever, possibly. #Strictly

Look, I understand why they have to change some of the words to make it #Strictly friendly, but they are RUINING the Cell Block Tango.

I've been getting a lot more into poetry this year, purely and completely because it's a big part of SAS Rogue Heroes fandom, which has introduced me to loads that it turns out I like.

Predictably, I now can't remember any.
Which lines of poetry live rent-free in your head?

Mum couldn't get to the cinema when the latest Downton Abbey movie came out, so we just watched it on Prime.

Loved it! Much preferred it to the second one. I know not much happens, but I love a Downton where nothing much happens.

Why is FIFA awarding a peace prize? What have I missed?

The way in which I do NOT want to see 28 Years Later The Bone Temple is very, very high. But the way in which Jack O'Connell is incredibly compelling in the trailer is also very, very high.

We call this the blorbo conundrum.

Today I discovered my dad has never had beans on toast and I am BAFFLED?

Had a GREAT time with Stranger Things 5.01, now working my nerve up again for 5.02. Caring about things really fucks with my ability to consume them, which is unhelpful.

Presented at Board meeting! Peered at Black Friday sales on Oxford Street. Now have a banging headache all down one side of my face :(

At the Foreign Office for a Board meeting and it's SO fancy. I am not designed for this fancy.

So I thought the gay hockey thing was a movie on Netflix, but it turns out to be a TV show? On... idk something in America? What if I want to watch gay hockey men, The Universe?

I'm SO TIRED I feel like I've been kicked in the face, but the little cat does not want me to nap. Every time I try, I get a gentle but persistent little tap tap on my arm.

The LEVEL to which I'm not ready to wake up tomorrow to new Stranger Things content is very, very, very high.

My very important review of Wicked 2: Witches should kiss and Jonathan Bailey is too handsome for my sanity.

Got a PA job after uni, shared an office with the HR administrator. Everything she was doing looked so much more fun than my job, and she got to hear all the secrets. So when she retired, I slid neatly sideways into her role and have somehow kept getting promoted ever since.
What’s the lore behind choosing your career path ?

Shout out to Penny, a real MVP, who let me drag her around Coventry and Leamington Spa in the pouring rain today.

But we found THREE Bill Fraser of the SAS things: the road he lived with his mum and step dad, the road he lived later, and the garden of remembrance where his ashes were scattered.

On the one hand, this peppermint bark from M&S cost £12(!) but on the other, it's really fucking delicious.
