It's vogue to talk about how "the Soviets actually won WW2." If not for the Ukranians serving among the Soviets, and the Lend Lease Act for that matter, they are defeated by the Nazis in 1942. The contributions of the Canadians to the Allied war effort in Europe are similarly undervalued.

There really is no reason to refer to that proposal, which was in all likelihood crafted by the Russians and sent to Trump, as a “peace plan.” It is a document of surrender prior to the resumption of hostilities. That’s it.

The Ukrainians will win the war of aggression against them. What's more, they have proven their mettle, and that they are some of the best people in this crazy world. When this is over, we will want them as allies. We will NEED them as allies. Alienating them is pure insanity.

Trump’s foreign policy is very straightforward-the world is to be carved up and divided by a small handful of strongmen. These spheres of influence will then be drained of their wealth and resources, the profits from which will be funneled straight to their families and close allies.
