Hi, I'm Tim and I've been a Senior Environment Artist at #ZenimaxOnlineStudios for about 8 years. Before that I worked in tv as a modeler and generalist for about 6 years. I spent 6 years on ESO and I'm now having a great time, helping create our next thing.
Every boss fight ever created is made significantly worse by a lengthy or irritating run back.

Adding another set of interior spaces that I made. This time from #ESO #HighIsle. I created the majority of the interiors for this chapter, as well as a huge portion of the furniture (hopefully a later update). Enjoy! 😀https://www.artstation.com/artwork/eR62Y6

One of the larger pieces I made for our Greymoor chapter was the interior of the Blue Palace in Solitude (as well as all the other high end set interiors). It was a ton of fun recreating such an iconic city from a game that I loved. #ESO #Greymoor #Skyrim #Solitude www.artstation.com/artwork/oJenmz

I had the pleasure of recreating the Blue Palace from Skyrim for our Greymoor Chapter. In addition to modeling/building out the full interior structure, I also created the stone detail trims, the fire...

The first Chapter I worked on from start to finish was Summerset. One spot I got to work on was the Crystal Palace Entrance. This included some kit-bashing, as well as a number of bespoke models and sculpts for the central doorway and entrance. #ESO #gamedev www.artstation.com/artwork/K3og6G

I recently updated my artstation posts with some semi-breakdowns, showing the furniture trims, and some of the variants I made from the parts. Figure it's easier to just share directly here, for anyone who finds this sorta thing interesting. #ESO #gamedev

One more post from my #Elsweyr work! Thought it would be fun to show the high res modeling of all the crazy filigree and trim work I did that served as the kit bash set for the zone. Enjoy! #ESO #ElderScrolls #GameDev www.artstation.com/artwork/8BgdvE

Got together with a bunch of the ZOS game2 team tonight. Damn, I'm gonna miss this team and project. Great to get out though.

On July 2nd, Microsoft announced they were shelving an unannounced project at ZOS, a shock to over 200 of our devs working on the project.

However, despite discussions regarding the status of our employment, the fact is: we have not yet been laid off.

Our full statement can be found below.

First day back to "work" after the mass MS layoff that led immediately into my vacation week. Man, this is a weird feeling. Did not at all expect to be revisiting my resume and portfolio again right now. Hope everyone else impacted is managing well today.

Ok, I just saved money on RocketMoney by manually cancelling all of my excess subscriptions. That's one productive thing today. Time for my next project. #layedoffbyxbox

So, should I start a GoFundMe for some Five Guys? I could really use a sad, super unhealthy burger, but am also part of the Xbox layoffs and feel like I shouldn't splurge on something that costs about half a mortgage payment right now.

I don't really have the emotional wherewithal to make this a good post. Honestly, this feels awful, shocking, and confusing. So, for now, who is looking for a Senior Environment Artist with a good deal of generalist and character background?

Swag day combined with Doom CE pickup day. It'll be another 86 years before the planets align like this again.

Terrible news today. Wes is a wonderful guy and deserves all the support he can get!!!
Wes is not only an incredibly talented and instrumental part of our games, but also one of our dearest friends.

We wish him well and hope for an easy recovery.

This is the first holiday season where I've noticed all the recipe sites have a "cook mode" toggle to keep your phone/tablet on while cooking, and I am so happy we are finally here.

Ok, not much of a card game guy, but I can't stop playing Balatro! Knowing almost nothing about it coming into this GOTY season, I didn't think much about it, but yeah, this game is really fun and addictive.
