protect the dolls? sure. but have you considered saying "protect trans people" instead? I know it doesn't sound as snazzy and cool but you'd be showing that you're an actual ally who cares about *all* trans people, and not just hopping on a trend. transmascs and enbies will thank you.

oddly (or perhaps not that surprisingly) that’s also how people react to folks who still mask up for Covid reasons. They can’t stand that we’re making them feel bad about their choices. Turns out humans really don’t like being told that they’re the baddies. Just not enough to do better, it seems.
Thank you for this! Lately I've had some people admonish me that my attitude towards AI makes some people feel bad about their choices. I'm going to send them this because they *should* feel bad about their choices, and, more crucially, they should make better choices
