The family went off to Prague last weekend leaving me tasked with keeping the animals alive for the duration. We borrowed a cage for Tiny Ted so that he wouldn't electrocute himself while I was at work. It didn't seem to phase him in the slightest. But then, Graham was there to keep him company.

Freaky Tales isn't a great film; for a start, it tries too hard to be Pulp Fiction. But it is enormous fun and it's got a good heart: something we need in these bitter times. And that soundtrack is a delight. Weirdly, the Lords of the New Church cut on the trailer doesn't feature in the film itself.

Turned down a freebie for the Offspring tomorrow night. Because I've got root canal surgery instead. Still, a head full of novocaine should make the Scotland game more bearable.

My Dad loved his football. He's been gone these eighteen years, but I think he'd enjoy this Scotland game.

Our local supermarket has started selling eggs in open trays to cut down on packaging. This will mean a saving for all households that don't have a cat that eats egg boxes.
