The claims are only surfacing now because we have more ability to surface clips than in 2013 when legacy media and chronological feeds meant clips like this didn’t spread very far and Farage seemed like an EU obsessed crank
Here is Farage with the denial he made back in 2013 to Michael Crick on Channel4. As @mrjamesob.bsky.social @lbc.co.uk observes Farage ludicrously claims that these allegations have only surfaced now because he’s doing so well in the polls. He’s taking us all for mugs. youtu.be/LM3ggDc34c4?...

Immigrants have helped, improved and enriched this country more than the likes of Farage and Yaxley-Lennon could do in a thousand lifetimes, so it would be quite nice if the government didn’t pander to feeble dickheads like them with rhetoric like this.

I don't understand why the British media allows a far right party funded by the super rich and stuffed full of former Tories to continue to present itself as "anti-elite". It's such a blatant and risible lie yet Farage is never called out on it.

These people have always existed, their views have always been vile and the fact they're now wearing a slightly different coloured rosette doesn't mean their views weren't vile before or more so now. Hacks just struggled to call a Scottish Office Minister a racist wank.

Malcolm Offord of "Vote No Borders" infamy was also a vocal advocate of Leave during the #Brexit referendum. Parachuted into the HoL by Johnson on the unquestionably democratic pretext of making extremely generous donations to the Tory Party.

I’m afraid we have Tories in Scotland - not as many as elsewhere perhaps, but we’ve got em nonetheless. And this is what Tories are doing now, because they are arseholes. Yes, even the ones you know, them too.

Christ. The whining victimhood of these spoiled brats. Squabbling over power, while the rest of us live with the mess they’ve made of our country and our lives.
