A big day for TMU, Brampton and beyond! Today we officially celebrated the opening of the TMU School of Medicine with our inaugural class of learners, government partners and the TMU community. The future of healthcare begins today and healthy change starts now.
Today, our vision for a new kind of medical school—one that's built on excellence of care, imbued with respect, and rooted in community—becomes a reality. We thank all who have supported us along the way, and warmly welcome our inaugural MD class. We look forward to making healthy change together.

As we open our doors this week, learners like Zaynashae Boreland show what the future of health care can look like. Her dream is to open a family practice clinic and to be the physician that young Black children and teens can see themselves in.
