i really enjoy looking at chainsawman stuff on bsky more than twitter because on bsky you see a lot more casual readers/viewers giving their thoughts and enjoying the series. on twitter casual fans get drowned out by fandom discourse lol

kind of a hot take, but chainsaw man still has one of my favorite art styles, even after the change in style. i feel like the people that act like the current art is "the worst they've ever seen" only do so because they're comparing it to the start of part 2

#csm189 this chapter definitely reinforces my idea that this arc is kinda a parallel to part one's international assassins arc, with its large cast of characters and many moving parts (especially if you count the prison break as a part of this arc). it also brings the same heavy "WTF" energy.

man, if fairy type was included in the original pokemon red and blue games it totally would've gotten wrapped up in all the christian evangelists controversy stuff as a "pokemons trying to make your kids gay!" sort of thing huh

i really hate how much people use "lost potential" or "what could've been" as a BASIS for their criticism of stories. Like if what we're getting is already great, your focus should be on the actual content of the story instead of complaining that it didn't match the scenario in your head
