Just so you’re aware, every library in LA is offering free masks right now due to the fires. Another reason to love libraries! Let’s hope they continue after the fires are over. Masks save lives in many ways.

i read this cause i wanted to know if the special edition is work buying and it is! it’s so pretty, and the story matches quite well. there were several trope-y eye roll inducing moments (very ‘not like other girls’ fmc) but i had fun!

not as enjoyable as the first one and i wasn’t as engrossed in the story. the writing style felt v different, and the multiple different realms got a bit confusing. i didn’t feel as connected to the characters as i did to howl and sophie, but it was mainly fine!
