Great commit messages succinctly explain the why. The motivations, considerations, aspirations, tribulations. It's messy human stuff which machines either miss or discard.

As an old git coming from an era where search was all about most accurate result with fewest words it's so odd to see modern approaches deliberately returning noise their output
