Karma: two sanctioned oil tankers of Russia's shadow fleet, the Kairos and the Virat, appear to have struck Russian mines in the Black Sea. The Kairos is now burning fiercely.

This is likely to impact Russian oil exports and revenues even further.📉🫟

Politico reports that Europe is now considering what once seemed unthinkable: striking back at Russia. After repeated provocations, drone and aircraft incursions, GPS jamming, rail sabotage, and disinformation, EU and NATO members are weighing cyberattacks on targets critical to Russia’s war effort.

“NATO was built to fight only one war: to save free Europe from Russian aggression. Ukraine is the only country fighting this war — and we’re still discussing, ‘Should we include them or not?’ Ukraine is the only country fulfilling NATO’s destiny!”

It isn't a plan to end the war. It's a plan to let us regroup so we can invade again.
The plan to end the war in Ukraine doesn’t ensure peace—it ensures profits for Trump’s inner circle.

Steve Witkoff helped Russia derail Ukraine’s access to Tomahawk missiles. He tipped off the Kremlin about Zelensky’s U.S. visit, giving Moscow time to arrange a call that convinced Trump to block the deal. Witkoff actively works against Ukraine’s defense, in coordination with Putin’s regime.

Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) is lending a hand to Trump, issuing a press statement accusing the UK of attempting to undermine Trump's “peacekeeping efforts.” London is allegedly keen to see the war continue, as it supposedly “props up the British economy” through defence contracts.

Russia becoming more of an economic vassal of China.

They can't afford to build railways due to the war costs, so they are offering rare-earth deposits to China in exchange for a railway being built.

Apparently now they're China's mine since the gas station ran out of gas.🪨⛏️

Trump hasn’t been deeply involved in the details of the Ukraine peace plan, according to a U.S. official cited by The Washington Post. "You tell him, ‘I’ll try to make a deal,’ and he says, ‘Great, go see what you can do.’ That’s the level of engagement," the official said.

Total chaos.

Surprise, surprise ...
No shock here: The Guardian notes several phrases in the U.S. peace proposal to Ukraine appear to be directly translated from Russian.

One standout is the line “It is expected that Russia will not invade neighboring countries,” a clunky English phrasing mirroring the Russian “ожидается.”
