Trump’s Truth Social account is still posting like crazy and I don’t know if it would be better or worse if he approved everything that’s being published.

If he did approve it all, he had time for nothing else today. If he didn’t, there are so many ways for this flurry of content to be exploited.

Trump has posted to Truth Social at least 75 times and counting in the past hour.

It’s weirdo garbage produced by random people on X and TikTok across a number of topics, like conspiracy theories about Ilhan Omar and influencers who claim “communists” are attempting a color revolution in the U.S.

Disturbing fucking story. That guy is not on the level.
1. Over Thanksgiving, texts from Dem. Sen Ruben Gallego leaked where he repeats far-right talking points on masculinity, lamenting that Democratic women "look like men."

Using far-right gender-panic rhetoric will not ingratiate the Democratic Party towards men.

One of the reasons servicemembers, from admirals and generals to the greenest private, should know “don’t follow illegal orders” is that this administration is a goulash of dishonorable character flaws like cowardice and dishonesty. There is no bus under which these pissants will not throw you.
NYT:
Five officials told us that Hegseth had nothing to do with the second strike

Washpost (which broke the story 2 days ago):
“This is ‘protect Pete’ bullshit,”
and
“It’s throwing us, the service members, under the bus.”

OK, This NYT Hegseth PR piece is unbelievable, but I want to point out two specific ways why.

1. "As that operation unfolded, they said, Mr. Hegseth did not give any further orders to him."

This sentence says nothing new, and only raises further questions about WHY NOT; it does not clear him.

To be clear, we're talking about a *literal* take-no-prisoners approach. This is not a metaphor. We're describing the Secretary of Defense in literal terms as a guy who is genuinely committed to doing war crimes

I think a jury would need about six hours to convict the Norwegian corporal and send him to the gallows.

His own record of support for war crimes, plus his specific knowledge that they are war crimes as shown by his attempt to evade responsibility for them, is absolutely damning.

TEA can be and often is delegated, but it also can be kept at a very high level...and if pete did indeed keep it with him without being delegated at least for the first strike, hoo boy

He never really wanted to be president in the first place. He ran in 2016 as a publicity stunt and increasingly unlikely things kept happening until he sort of tripped into the White House.
one thing that receives almost no attention is that the only reason he ran for president again is because he had to to avoid prosecution for a litany of crimes, the whole plan was: 1). Take shelter in SCOTUS-granted immunity. 2). Loot.
trump is the president in the sense that he holds the office but he very clearly isn't the president in the sense that he has basically relieved himself of its duties
