There's a lot of scammers operating on Bluesky. If you're chatting with a Ukrainian soldier, you're probably not. Look out for requests for photos, voice calls, moving to Telegram etc., and of course money. Legitimate Ukraine fund-raisers can usually be verified independently. Anyone can be scammed.
All of us are vulnerable to scams – it’s rooted in who we are as human beings. Recognising this is the first step to protecting ourselves.
