He’s cutting tariffs to bring coffee prices down… the tariffs that he imposed, so he’s admitting that tariffs raise prices. And he “expects GAS at $2 a gallon… Real relief–not slogans” except that… those are just slogans: what he “expects” has no relationship to the price of gas.
Fox Propaganda thinks we are idiots, who have no idea who jacked up tariffs on Brazil that made COFFEE prices go up in the first place. Or who eliminated EV incentives that will cause gasoline demand (and therefore prices) to go up.

Jeanne also fell for the old “I got your nose” thing. No, seriously: she still thinks I have her nose and calls me about it frequently.
Shaheen: "We've heard from a number of our colleagues on the other side of the aisle that they're willing to come to the table, they're willing to work with us once the govt is open to get this done. We've heard the same thing from the White House. So now we'll see if they're really gonna work w/us"

The main point is that @schumer.senate.gov is either bad at his job or, if these are the results he wants, is not in line with what most Democrats who are *not* in Congress actually want from the Democratic Party.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.

Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.
so currently defectors are:

Kaine (2030)
Shaheen (Retiring)
Hasan (2028)
Fetterman (2028)
Durbin (Retiring)
CCM (2028)
Rosen (2030)
King (2030)

There is now no other path: @schumer.senate.gov must go. Resign, Chuck, retire, just get the fuck out. I’m pretty certain you coordinated this (not a coincidence that NONE of the Betrayal Eight has an election coming in 2026), but even if you didn’t you didn’t stop it. You’re not a leader.
Stop patting senators on the head unless they are calling for schumer's removal. Everything else is just in the script

it is pretty darkly funny seeing posts like URGENT!!!! it is SUNDAY EVENING you must PUT DOWN YOUR DINNER and call your senator IMMEDIATELY to politely request they not press the big button marked "fuck you". this will not actually stop them from pressing the fuck you button. functioning democracy

Every single Dem that caved and agreed to this deal needs to be primaried and voted out. They are cowards who wasted the last month for a half baked promise vote a month from now.

It turns out @kaine.senate.gov loves being treated like a dog on a leash, but not in a sexy BDSM kinda way, just in the humiliating and demeaning way where he meekly surrenders without any consideration of the damage caused by his cowardice. What a fucking disgrace this “man” is.

I have been actively watching contracts and surge funding over the last few days and what I would say to my friends in Baltimore is “be absolutely ready, right now.”

The Trump administration has rush-ordered infrastructure to conduct raids, abduct residents, and detain people for months.
