I really loved watching Avatar TLA again. The characters are wonderful, and the action was excellent. Toph and Zuko were my favorites by a pretty wide margin, the latter's arc was the true heart of the series IMO. I will just never ever like Aang and Katara as a couple lmao

I watched it as a kid but rewatching it now I forgot how good Avatar: TLA (the TV show) is. Season 1 was just okay but season 2 is fantastic. Crazy that this was a Nickelodeon cartoon

In my day "crash out" was a technique used by the character Lanz in the GOTY-nominated RPG video game Xenoblade Chronicles 3 for the Nintendo Switch
no one ever said crash out before a month ago and now every thing is a crash out, what ever happened to getting into your car and driving into oncoming traffic

The Duel Masters subreddit is 90% people finding their childhood collection in an attic and asking if it's worth anything. Any DM cards I had as a kid were lost to the sands of time long ago so I am envy. I would treasure them now

The Avatar set seems fine. In fact it's looking pretty well-designed. Most of the art is good, the bending mechanics look fun, and it (generally) fits Magic's core aesthetic. But it's still riddled with obnoxious UB-isms like each major character getting 5 cards. Should've been commander decks.

Wrapped up the main story of Z-A. Parts of the narrative were quite clumsy and it's still got some of that game freak jank but overall this has been the Pokemon game I've most enjoyed since Black and White 2 over a decade ago

Was happy to see him score a good goal but overall Salah has been shambolic this season and shouldn't be playing the full 90 until his form improves

Really enjoying the "Fire Jokers" archetype in Duel Masters rn, it's like the blitz mechanic from New Capenna, cast creatures for cheaper than their mana cost but they leave at end of turn. Johnny here is like Ilharg Raze-Boar except with haste and he brings 2 blitz buddies. Fun and explosive aggro.
