And to add to you absolutely correct point they also may just want a pizza which is fine too. The lack of options is awful and “bad” tastey food should be a choice/treat instead of the only options.

Also love the taste of bananas. I wonder if Americans do something to their bananas like inject preservatives that lessen their taste (or if all the sugars and salt in their food have dulled their taste that much they can’t taste a banana anymore)

Also, Christ the actual wording for the messages is so non-specific, at least with the footballs ppl will it will be “wow that goal! Was amazing” all the baseball posts seem only cryptically related in the blandest way that I have to decipher it’s sports nonsense and not someone having a stroke)

It's a bit much for sure. For you guys it's prob intensified as before you were inside American culture so maybe saw it thru other avenues so it didn’t seem as weird.

Yeah, I occasionally check Twitter and threads (the former out of morbid curiosity more than anything) the engagement farming is so boring. But even when it’s not farming it’s just unoriginal regurgitating they think is deep

I really wish actual crt emulation (or shaders or whatever) were more common especially in official releases cos I feel scanlines are just the start for properly displaying SD games.

(I’ve heard such good things about how the retro tink does its crt processing but I don’t have money to spare)

I like this place cos I can just stay in the following tab and whatever the tab is called that shows ppl that I follow also follow.

Far better than random posts where it’s the same meme-related posts for engagement (usually screenshots from another platform you’ve seen a hundred times by now)

It's annoying when that happens, seems like a slam dunk idea to get the full series ported before 5 (and from what I hear they could revert the dumb changes to the western version of 4 that apparently make it hell to play compared to the Japanese release )

Same with the Metroid Primes, why no 2&3!?
