"Under his plan, “anyone caught trafficking, producing, or exporting >40 mg of fentanyl” would receive a mandatory life sentence.

This 40 mg threshold is a mere 1.6 per cent of the 2.5 grams that someone can possess under BCs decrim pilot...40 mg is less than half of a typical baby Aspirin tablet."
In December 2022, Pierre Poilievre wrote in a National Post op-ed, “People struggling with addiction belong in treatment, not prison.”

Last week, he unashamedly called for many of those same people to be imprisoned for life.

"Rather than just simplifying complex facts, gov'ts & science communicators must strive to ensure that public health messaging is relevant to the individual; to not only provide accurate info but also foster an environment of trust & understanding, & to acknowledge areas of uncertainty & unknowns."
The spread of health misinformation and disinformation poses a serious threat to public health.

How can we respond to the danger and combat the tide of misinformation and disinformation to protect public health?
