Transformers Action Masters Kick-Off! The AMs in general had good bios & his was particularly interesting. He’s a vengeful former gladiator from the pits of Polyhex & he’s keen to use his hard-learned combat skills on his former captors. His flamethrower Turbo Pack should help him catch & cook them

Masters of the Universe Stratos! Highly underrated figure, what’s cooler than a monkeybirdman + rocket pack? I had the blue-winged version. Loved his spiked knuckleduster but felt he needed a weapon so gave him a broken Rambo General Warhawk sword as “The Sword of Avion” - like it was made for him!

Transformers Action Master Over-Run & Attack Copter! Ravishing red robot! Though it looks great the copter is a lil small for O-R & he looks a bit like a kid sitting in a supermarket ride-on helicopter (hope his mom brought plenty of change). Main gun is bizarrely retooled from Vortex’s side gun

I’m completely in love with the Age of the Primes Aerialbots. Everything I’ve ever wanted from a set of Aerialbots along with something I never knew I needed (a ridiculous Gerry Anderson-esque spade Concorde mode for Silverboltvthst can act as a carrier from the others). Plus Superion is magnificent
I hope that whoever decided to engineer certain post-2000 plastic bags to disintegrate into a billion microplastic shards has similarly degenerated into a hard to clean up dusty mess. My safe microplastics exposure ship has long sailed but it’s fucking infuriating everytime I go digging in the attic

Transformers Action Master Inferno & Hydro Pack! Though he’s missing my 2 fav Inferno features (gun arm & shoulder wings) his versatile Hydro Pack makes up for it. The ability to plug the hose arm into the back of his gun for firefighting duties is very satisfying. Shame they didn’t do Grapple too

Crash Dummies Dirt Digger! I was slightly disappointed that it didn’t “crash” (doesn’t wreck & it’s positively sturdy!) but scooping stuff up was always fun. The backstory (it is used to collect severed Dummy limbs before the Junkbots can steal them & convert them into new Junkbots) is pretty dark

Transformers Action Master Mainframe! A computer programmer that actually turns into a computer (well, pre-Nucleon anyway). Now he can no longer become Teletraan-I he has the adorable lil droid Push-Button to help him out with his debugging duties though P-B would rather crunch Cons than code!

Masters of the Universe Teela! Who said that boys didn’t want to play with girl characters? Loved her! Liked the Kobra staff but thought the badass captain of the guard also needed a blade like in Filmation so gave her a mini Thundercats Hachiman sword for stabby fun. It made a nice dagger for her

Masters of the Universe wipe-clean table mat by The Icarus Company. Pic on front & story on back, think that is asking for trouble as kids flip their dinners over trying to find out if Teela will be captured or a bride (...really Icarus?). Ram-Man appears to be doing something very rude to Beast Man
The battle for the Power Sword! Fighting for the halves of the Power Sword was an element MOTU lore that was under-advertised (not called out as something the toys did on cardbacks & abandoned fairly quickly, I missed the early minicomics & didn’t know they did that!) but it remains a fun feature

Transformers Action Master Blaster & Flight Pack! Goes against the AM grain with a head based on the toy/comic rather than the cartoon (shame he doesn’t have a Marvel-lous yellow face to complete the look). Jet pack is fun but sad he didn’t get a new animal pal to add to his crew like Soundwave did
