Everyone involved knows Mel is a virulently racist fascist lunatic with horrendous views on the use of massive, murderous violence against civilians. But there she still is on Sky News, because her crackpottery is well within acceptable opinion, for our political/media class.

Hey everyone, here's the news, if you aren't a high earner, entrepreneur or a "skilled frontline worker" (whatever the fuck that means) the "Labour" Party says you aren't contributing, you're a taker!
This is so disgusting.

An openly Nazi government that wishes the Axis powers had won World War II:
In its US national security strategy memo, the Trump administration claimed Europe is facing the “stark prospect of civilizational erasure.”

It said it will support “patriotic” far-right parties across Europe to prevent a future in which “certain NATO members will become majority non-European.”

Their main take-away from COVID was "saving as many lives as possible isn't worth it".

Let that settle within you for a moment.

While those that committed PPE fraud and facilitated it are still at large, living their lives.

Ed Davey says it is wrong to boycott Eurovision because of the "ceasefire.”

Meanwhile, since the ceasefire, Israel has killed 360+ Palestinians, injured 922+, and Gaza still sees 8 deaths/day on average.

The Genocide continues.

Pretending there is peace is a lie.

#BoycottEurovision
"There is a ceasefire in Gaza and therefore this action is the wrong thing"

Lib Dem leader Ed Davey hiding behind the pretend 'ceasefire' (which is the point of it) & saying its wrong for countries to boycott Eurovision. Pathetic. Supporting BDS is the very least anyone can do

Britain’s biggest hunger strike in decades – and the media won’t touch the story.

The idea of a "D-notice" from the state seems less likely than the British press simply continuing its abysmal record of reporting on both Palestine solidarity and on prisons morningstaronline.co.uk/article/brit...

It's genuinely fucking evil. Like, think of what this woman has experienced as an 80 YEAR OLD TRANS WOMAN - the transformations she must have seen in both herself and in society, the rights she has had to fight for, everything she's won, only to have it all snatched away at the last fucking second.
This part is *infuriating*. This cis woman heard an 80 year old trans woman say, 'This is the only place I've been respected as a woman IN MY LIFE.'

And did not immediately think, 'I will fight every inch like a dying badger to keep her in my organization.'

Absolutely pathetic.

Removing jury trials is a very bad thing.

It must be understood in the wider context of neoliberalism aiming to remove public participation in politics.

The ruling class simply do not want the average person to have *any* way to push back on what they're doing.

So many people who imagine themselves to be Marxists have a deeply liberal and idealist understanding of transphobia. It's not a debate, it's a power struggle and if you aren't willing to clearly take trans people's side, you are a scab.
Nah, bullshit tbh. You don't deal with the presence of transphobes by debating them. That the guy arguing no felt comfortable doing so and wasn't immediately heckled into silence speaks to a fundamental fucking rot.

The responses and quotes of are so depressing. A bigoted minority and no one wanting to do anything beyond "well we don't want to upset them"

It's always been "oh the Daily Mail are the Little England fascists" (see: history) but they've fucking dictated conversations at every level, on everything!
On every public policy committee I sat on - gambling, drugs, animal experiments, law of homicide and others - someone would ask ‘But what would the Daily Mail say about our recommendations?’ I now regret that we never gave the right answer. ‘We shouldn’t care.’
