there are a lot of people mad about this who do not appear to understand that the strategy *from the very beginning* has been to make ACA subsidy extension a lynchpin of negotiations, and if you think these are pretty meager demands, well, you are correct, that is the point

“Jury nullification” is a fancy phrase that just means, “This jury decided not to convict and there’s nothing anyone can do about that.”
If we think a law is unjust or unjustly enforced, we can just not convict. We don’t need a reason.
