Ohhhh, I would enjoy this feature. I NEED this feature.
One of my favorite mastodon features is the time-based muting. Someone's posting through (suffering, lol) a football game, and I have less than zero interest in sportsball? But I generally enjoy following them? Mute them for 1 hour (or 6 hours), and my screen is no longer littered with crap […]

LMAO at first I thought they meant a group bike ride, which, also cool, but kinda long. Anyway, another cool December event I will probably miss but you should not.

I don’t want to make the mistake of not taking KM’s PAC seriously, btw. However, it is A LOT to take in.

Ah, here we go. I misremembered slightly, she didn’t quite label Harrell himself a socialist. www.theseattlejournal.com/seattles-may...

Does anyone have these screenshots of Kate Martin labeling the outgoing Mayor as a socialist?
I feel like someone shared screenshots from her newsletter a few months ago where she complained that Harrell was a socialist. So her definition of centrist/moderate is unique.

It’s good for a leader to ride transit & bikeshare as a habit, precisely b/c that keeps you tuned into city life. Most of these security challenges seem solvable, and it’s a fine trade-off to do some city biz (signing docs, etc) in the office instead a car so you can keep talking to NYers.

I always wonder what makes some chambers get transit while so many small biz don’t seem to. www.southsoundbiz.com/news/peninsu...
Peninsula Transit Pilot Program Launches on Black Friday
'For many Key Peninsula residents, this means more than just a ride,' said Rosalyn Rochac-Finnegan, tourism director for Visit Gig Harbor.

Just reconfigured the front room and barely 15 minutes later this ginger miscreant is assessing how he might alight to the top of the bookshelf (I just now filled that empty, tempting corner with a watering can as dissuasion).

I do think it should be a priority of WA to consolidate conurbation suburban cities and special districts within UGAs into sizable governments. Independent local gov serving 6k, 3k, 20k, etc people is very inefficient and leads to nonsense patchworks of arbitrary disparities

Anyway, I rarely cook beef or other red meats so it’s An Occasion. Plus although the black bread has Hungarian provenance, it works exceedingly well with this stew. Which I’m freezing for future chilly winter night dinners.
