Just reconfigured the front room and barely 15 minutes later this ginger miscreant is assessing how he might alight to the top of the bookshelf (I just now filled that empty, tempting corner with a watering can as dissuasion).

I do think it should be a priority of WA to consolidate conurbation suburban cities and special districts within UGAs into sizable governments. Independent local gov serving 6k, 3k, 20k, etc people is very inefficient and leads to nonsense patchworks of arbitrary disparities

Anyway, I rarely cook beef or other red meats so it’s An Occasion. Plus although the black bread has Hungarian provenance, it works exceedingly well with this stew. Which I’m freezing for future chilly winter night dinners.

Don’t tell the Belgians, but I used Hooligan Stout from WA’s Old Schoolhouse Brewery. 🤌
I baked black bread and now this simmers on my stove. The apartment smells delectable.

I am so sorry to hear this terrible news. My deep condolences to Faith’s family, loved ones, the Broomfield community, and Colorado.

It is unspeakably tragic.

Rest in peace to Faith Winter, killed by a transportation system she was trying to making safe for others.

Also, framing her as an unknown is light years more accurate than the “inexperienced” frame. While a lot of organizers & people in power have known her for a while, I think it’s accurate to say most residents did not.
