"This could take down Democrats, too."

I know. And I frankly wouldn't give even an itty bitty damn if it implicated every Democratic man in Congress, every Democratic hopeful for 2028 and every Democrat who has even thought about running for office.

Down with the sex predators, wherever they are.

Yeah, if only the barely 15 yr olds could wear some sort of badge to differentiate themselves from those who are 16+ so that wealthy creeps could have all the enjoyment and massive power imbalance of having sex with someone young enough to be their teenage daughter without awkward legal blowback.
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

Meanwhile, here's an example of the horrendous things found in Hillary Clinton's emails—the only story worth covering for any serious news outlet in 2016, apparently.

This email is also regarding a child who suffered abuse from a grown man.

Wes Streeting looks like Pinocchio if, instead of becoming a real boy, he’d turned into an Assistant Manager at a branch of Currys.

Firm has distanced itself from Andrew M-W.
Not many of Trump’s acolytes in the UK rushing to his defence.
The full depth of depravity of the Epstein files might just be really bad, they *all* know how bad and are trying to get as much distance as they can before it all kicks off.

Two days after publication, and this stone-cold racism from a Peer of the Realm has prompted precisely zero response from the political class.

He says, in print, that "the sons of immigrants" bring violence with them in their genes.

We're just pricing this in to public debate now, it seems.
Spectator running a piece by Daniel Hannan which leans heavily into the inferred idea that you're not necessarily British if you come from a migrant background, even if you were born and brought up here.

Thanks to this cat and her predilection for losing her tracker and just general shenanigans I spent 20 minutes stuck inside a thicket, with only my phone for light, getting my hands stung by nettles and at one point thinking I might have permanently lost my new spectacles.

Imagine if some British comedians, known among other things for their work on comedy sketch shows, had inadvertently created a meme to describe this situation, a meme which mocks the lack of self-awareness of Nazis? I wonder what that would look like?

I suppose it’s time to dig out the application letter I wrote in 2004 to become Director General of the BBC. And maybe Tory it up a bit. Say that I like drinking San Pellegrino, have membership of both the National Trust and English Heritage and own a Rab jacket.

Always think it's important to point out that our healthcare isn't free, it's free at the point of use - we all pay for it through a variety of taxes. A lot of people don't realise this and it helps counter the (US, usually) narrative of 'who'll pay for it?!''. We all will, we all do.
Average healthcare costs in the US:

Giving birth? $18,000

Cancer treatment? $150,000

One month ICU stay? Between 30k and 150k.

That’s not including copays, deductibles, interest and all the other hoops you have to jump through.

Cost in Canada? $0.

Cost in the UK? $0.

Cost in Australia? $0.

You may not like Keir Starmer and you may consider that he’s won power on the back of pretending to be a socialist and being nothing of the sort (probably true). But please. Find some more inventive insult than just calling him Keith. It’s neither funny, original or clever.

I confess to some mild curiosity as to how it is that Labour Cabinet ministers agreeing to push through a series of measures over the last year condemned as overtly racist by everyone to their left could not see that they were just buttering their own faces for the leopards.
Absolutely disgusted to hear about the racism Wes Streeting mentions here directed at school children who were visiting Parliament.

He has taken the post down, rightly, to protect the children.

But it's wrong that he had to do it.

Disgusted with so many people in our country. Racism is never OK.
