"Here's my take on gender" doesn't meaningfully interact with the assigned readings to demonstrate that you've read and digested their main points. Choosing to construct an essay which relies only on personal experiences and no cited sources obviously shouldn't pass muster.

This won’t be a popular opinion, but I don’t think the instructor was right here. The assignment said that the goal was for students to demonstrate they completed the readings *and* they could do so by reflecting on, among other things, their personal experiences. www.oudaily.com/news/ou-stat...

It's a shame because a three-stop with a late undercut while the entire field is on failing hards might have been a tactical masterstroke anywhere but Lusail.

Woof.

Genuinely curious now, though: what percentile of an average college class's writing skills would this land on, discounting the atrocious research & citations and central argument?

Garbage article. Why wouldn't I buy the freshest product dated as far into the future as possible?

Also this is a DIRECT result of being fed stuff that was clearly questionable, out of date, and being told "It's fine! Just eat it!" as children by lead-addled elders.
40% of Gen Z Canadians misinterpret best before dates on food, leading to significant waste: study
25 per cent of Gen Z's discard food with expired best before dates, even if it is safe to eat, which is an average cost of $329 of food waste

performative reading, lack of reading skills, nobody's reading anymore -- NO!

tell me about a book that changed you

for me? the *extremely* ahistorical novel, THE AGONY AND THE ECSTASY which I read at 13 and was like, "Oh, art can be *everything* to a maker, for good and bad"

The game you're looking for is CHESS.

But if that doesn't float your boat, for a few dollars more, there's bike rides, band practice, board games, and poker.
as the husband of a mahjong addict, dudes need to identify an activity that can be done relatively easily in groups with minimal financial commitment so they can get out of the house for 2-3 hours on a school night, have two beers, and shoot the shit with their buddies.

It won't be mahjong tho.
This is excellent, and great fun to read. www.newyorker.com/culture/the-...
