Oh they're DUMB dumb...
I legitimately didn't know they were competing with Steam and it's crazy to me that they burnt so much money on what sounds like something with very little (or wildly misguided) market research.
It was hard choosing just 10 games to get to know me, but these are the ones that I feel had the most combined impact on my interests as a game designer.
Eugh. Real charmer, that guy must be. Yeesh.
HOW
How do I have the equivalent of 13 hours a day in the fucking space janitor simulator for three days in a row
How is the game where I spent twenty minutes being the jury member for a stupid civil suit the one that hooks me this hard. What is wrong with my brain
Obviously, lacking any kind of framework to ensure that the commands ChatGPT types to make your web browser go the right place, this is a recipe for nothing good.
You know how ChatGPT is just a box where you type an input and text comes out? Agents are like if the output of ChatGPT went directly into some program that could do things. Like plugging strings into the command prompt of a minecraft server, except your web browser instead of a video game.

There was an extended custody battle over my body between a robot convinced that Asimov's laws of robotics obligated it to try and resuscitate my body (after being fully immersed in a lake of molten plasma) and a roboticist trying to pry out my brain and put it in a robot. Only in Space Station 14!
These designs are all so cool... I absolutely NEED a video game in this style

Rimworld definitely has the stink of libertarian/ancap Ideology to it. In-lore, everyone is invading your base to steal your stuff, and the possibility that some settlement or tribe might not be willing to risk life and limb for material wealth is dismissed out of hand by the game.
It's not too hard at all! Actually, it's a really fun project to try if you're messing with programming. Writing the code to uncover all the squares when you click a 0 tile is actually a really good way to introduce yourself to recursive programming.
Do bear in mind Minesweeper isn't necessarily always a solvable game, at least if mine placement is truly random. Sometimes you do kinda just have to guess! I actually wrote my own version for graping calculator a while back, so I spent a lot of time playing it.
mine is accounted for by the "1" to the left of it. The mine that that "1" is responding to has to be getting picked up by the "2" as well.
You've got some clickable spots in this region! The "2" in the upper right is fully satisfied by the flags you've already placed, so the square diagonal to it can be clicked. The lower left two is also clickable diagonally - it has one of its counts satisfied by the flag to its right, and the other-
No way, I've been using Godot too! Best of luck man, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun. I've been making games for a while myself, feel free to give a shout if you need any help with the technical stuff.
Wait, was "Dirty Work" by Steely Dan in something? I just recently got into the album it's from a while ago but I've been seeing people quoting it a lot lately.
Omg the fiery blowhog costume is so damn cute...
