No.
This is the largest slug I have ever seen in AoNZ. A yellow cellar. It's approximately 15cm.

15 years on from Pike River, NZ still records 2x the workplace deaths of Australia and 4x the UK per capita. System-level reform in workplace health and safety is needed. #publichealth

Fifteen years after Pike River: Time for leadership on workplace health and safety
Aotearoa’s workplace health and safety record has seen little improvement since Pike River. We need stronger leadership and better enforcement to reduce harm and improve outcomes.

I need new ideas for figures using #RStudio. R graph gallery which has some pretty figs which I am enamoured with. But what's your fav figure?

Currently enjoying this one on RGG, which might be useful for my next paper. It is pretty.

No gluten. Love a cup of tea (all kinds) and the odd cocktail. Chocolate and gummy lollies 😊 Pretty easy to please tbh.
Time for another question #SecretSantaAoNZ
What are your favourite foods? Least favourite? What can't you eat? What are your go to foods FOR MORALE?

It’s a little bit ironic that the conservative movement that bought us the classic line “Facts don’t care about your beliefs” is now at the very vanguard of ignoring science, actively suppressing science education, and doing everything it can to ignore facts in opposition to their ideology.

I keep thinking this is the very definition of modern conservatism/neoliberalism:

he really went "gender equality is when women do extra work on top of their normal workload" 😭
Working on a joint grant proposal, and the section on gender equity, paraphrased, reads “the female doctoral candidates will do outreach and mentorship to female college students to encourage DEI in the field.” Tell me this statement was written by a man without using those words.

This IPCA report on McSkimming and enabler/s needs a major systemic review of police command staff and systems to result. How deep does the rot go?Is just making up breathalysers results by lower level police a downstream reflection of the culture? New Zealand needs answers, not soundbites.

Care to apologise to Tamatha Paul for your public belittling of her when she dared to suggest some people may not trust the police?

I expected a more considered response from you. Instead you were all in on the side of the police. Shameful.

This is utterly sickening, particularly the charges under HDCA. Many, many things from the 2021-2023 period of my life in terms of police (in)action related to threats made to me now must be viewed thru this unholy prism.

In case Alex's post is too subtle APOLOGISE TO TAMATHA PAUL THIS INSTANT YOU COWARDS
Just seems a little short while ago that various government politicians, and people acting as their media surrogates, were outraged and scandalized by, and poured scorn on, comments from younger women politicians for suggesting many people don't trust cops.

Highest levels of the force - filth.
Well, this story just got a lot fucking worse. www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/jevon-mcs...

It's a structural obscenity that you work a 60 hour week and still need gov assistance to survive. And even more that it's normalised.
Text from a low income neighbor. His family hasn’t eaten in 2 days because they didn’t get their SNAP benefits

He works 60 hour weeks at a min wage job & it just isn’t enough. He has young children. This is the horrific cruelty Trump is imposing on ordinary Americans😓
