I successfully got frozen yeast rolls to rise this Thanksgiving 👏🏼. Bigger news- my cast iron pans were completely non-stick and the rolls popped right out. Antiques ftw.

That giant tub of cream cheese from Costco is not whipped. The same brand of “frosting” tubs sitting right next to them is.

Today’s adventures: Woke up to real live Native American singing for a regional pow wow. Watched a truck hit a robot. Ate fish for breakfast. Saw a biker field dressing a deer next to a wrecked car. 20+ Wild Tom Turkeys squared off and fighting in my yard. 🤯

My dentist’s office had a CK memorial display and today my local Internet/Phone provider proudly posted pictures of their staff dressed for CK Memorial Day. Y’all I know it’s deep Red, Evangelical, MAGA as F*ck out here, but it’s getting even more cultish and scary. Seriously.

My Well Digger died. It seems so odd to say nowadays, but this gentleman touched everyone in the community. He dug and later drilled wells for 3 generations of our family. He ensured that people had access to water for 80+ years. A lost art.
