Celebrity culture erodes local wisdom. Has us reaching to achieve the visible, the externally-defined. I want a culture where clout = contribution. Where the celebrated are the ones who make their neighbors’ lives better. Where we yearn not for big names, but for wise names.

The best part about Mamdani is that his politics include those who didn’t vote for him.

Socialism IS dangerous, but only to the mythologies of the Epstein class that give rise to their billionaire utopia. In reality, socialism is actually beneficial to all of us. Including the Epstein class. Because when we raise the baseline of our society, we evolve our entire civilization.

💫 This Election Day has already changed the future of politics, not because of policy, but because of possibility: we the electorate have seen what we can do. We have seen what a positive, participatory,
pleasure politics looks like. Let’s never turn back now. We build from here, onward.

HAPPY ZOHRAN DAY! This is participatory democracy. Between NYC mayor, NJ governor, and VA governor, tonight we’re getting a live referendum from the American people on the current administration — and the takeaway is: in the face of oligarchy, we rise. All power to the people.

I was laid off from Teen Vogue this week, alongside multiple other phenomenal team members.

At our Summit, I was asked how it felt to be 1 of 2 Black women left and what that meant for representation. Now, there are no Black women at Teen Vogue and that is incredibly painful to think about.

Happy Election Day! The world is watching NYC. “Because Zohran is the realistic candidate for a better future. While most others regurgitate the ideals of an American Empire that is falling quickly and irredeemably, Mamdani represents the world that can emerge from the rubble.” (GARMI Groundswell)

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

Wow, great example of how scarcity is manufactured under systems that are intentionally based on inequity. Makes me think: if these inefficiencies are required to maintain systemic inequality, imagine how systemic justice & equity could instead allow real efficiency & abundance to flourish for all.

🎃 The spookiest thing to the powers that be is any whisper of proof that a better world is possible. So this Halloween, let’s give them a fright by continuing to build abundant, equitable, liberated futures. 💫

This spooky season, I'm reminded that in the face of fear, we must be brave. As the ultra wealthy consolidate power, heighten violence, deepen disenfranchisement, and double down on extraction, it’s on all of us to take a stand. Courage is contagious.

Sometimes I listen to mainstream reporters & they sound so delusional to me that I just sit there like 😮. It hits me harder w. liberal media than right-wing bc the latter is so obviously and intentionally delusional, but the former regurgitates imperialist talking points without even realizing it.
