Mostly because I wanted a junk wax hat, but also thought others might, too. Legacy Old Favorite Trucker snapback hats are the best. Great quality/fit/etc.

I got to know Marc a little bit when he was the manager of the Frontier League team I covered in 2003, the River City Rascals. I was still figuring out how to be a baseball writer but he was great to me. Loved hearing him talk about his game. Learned so much. RIP, Booter
Marc Hill, a backup catcher for 14 seasons(!) in the majors, has died at the age of 73, his son reported on Facebook. Between 1973-86, Hill, nicknamed “The Booter,” played for the Cardinals, Giants, Mariners & White Sox. He batted .223 in 737 career games.
