No, I like that! It's like that walkthrough guide that someone wrote and made art and screenshots for about a game that doesn't exist. There's something enticing about navigating the holes in the context when the source material is nowhere to be found.

No worries, good insights. If it's something that bothers you, it's probably worth looking into at least. Just knowing that the other parts of you are there and sometimes being able to hear them, I don't think is a problem. I'm certain we all have them, it's just unusual to be able to make them out.

I'm not normal, myself, so I'm pretty sure not everyone experiences it. I suppose the real kicker is how often it happens. Might be a problem if it's too loud too often.

You ever have moments where you spontaneously decide to do something - refill a drink, go to the bathroom - and so you immediately stand up, but your body freezes for a few seconds before it finally decides to actually walk? I think that's what's happening in those cases, too, we just can't hear it.
