I was beset by gremlins during this set and didn't get connected properly for about five minutes!. So, what the hell does he mean by "songs from some outer space"? The phrase "from some outer space" came from a weird tale I was reading by Algernon Blackwood called The WIllows. Essentially these are songs I have heard when out and about and have thought "ooh, I like that, what is it?" There's nothing particularly fancy or esoteric about it, I just like the phrase that describes the idea.

I completely forgot to post this at the time but on the 22 February 2024, inspired by the heightened tension of the recent time, I played an hour of songs about The Cold War and nuclear threat. On the 7 August I played a set featuring songs that have been covered by Bananarama. It was a set with songs right from their very first demo in 1981 up to the tracks from their 2009 album Viva. Some NEW dates for your diaries. We have had to reschedule our autumn/winter 2025 events due to the sad news that Pohibition Cabaret bar (Club 30-80's home since 2018) is closing at the end of July. We're booked into our NEW VENUE (details coming soon) on: Saturday 25th October and FRIDAY 21st November Tickets will be available soon from our WeGotTickets page.

Following on from the REALLY sad news that Prohibition Cabaret Bar, our home for the last eight years) will cease trading on the 31st July this year, we're on the lookout for a new venue to house our future events. We're looking for a bit of a Goldilocks kind of venue really, somewhere not too big, not too small, but somewhere "just right"!

Well I loved that! There were a few gremlins despite being my most "prepared" ever for a ttns.uk set. I even managed to squidge my playlist a bit to play Marianne Faithfull's Ballad of Lucy Jordan as a show opener after the news of her death landed.
