My wife and I had a horse-drawn wedding.

It was a disaster. We should have just hired a photographer.

As the Israelification of America blunders on like a fat, masked, armed racist buffoon so the Americanification of Britain hurries to catch up like a wheezy minimum wage arsehole yearning to take it out on someone, ideally a foreign teenager. Fuck this shit, we're better than this.
My friend was expecting the 17-year-daughter of her friend to arrive from France last Thursday. The plan was for her to practise her English, go to a few West End shows and soak up British culture. But at British border control at Lille she was asked what she planned to do in the UK... 1/3

Just done the #saucony10k through central London. Love a 10k, love London. Don’t care what the haters say, it’s the best city in the world!
Added bonus - my wonderful stepdaughter Anna ran it too

MBA-brain is real.

I wrote about deception for social media clout — and why people do it now more than ever before.

Absolutely hilarious self-own. “The average American has 3 friends…” Oh, Mark. All that money and yet..
Mark Zuckerberg says Meta's chatbots will supplement your real friends: "The average American has fewer than 3 friends ... but has demand for ... 15 friends" (h/t x.com/romanhelmetg...)

Happy Hitler Shoots Himself In The Head day to all who celebrate. The 80th anniversary. May his ignominious end, with his body doused in petrol and burned by his last remaining loyalists, be a model for all tyrants.

We bought our house 18 years ago, and a lot of the garden was overgrown with ivy. Last summer I cleared a whole load of it away, and found a very mature clematis underneath. This spring it’s flowered for what must be the first time in over 20 years, maybe 25. And it’s amazing!

Do ultra-processed foods really shorten our lifespan? Maybe...some of them...
As we see yet more headlines about the latest edible bogeyman (sorry about that mental image), what did the study actually show? And what does ultra-processed even mean?

I have 2 tickets to see From The Jam (with Bruce Foxton and the brilliant Russell Hastings) at Guildford on April 4th, which I now can’t use. Happy to pass them on at face value - £40 each. It’s set to be one of the last shows Bruce Foxton ever plays, so it’ll be emotional!

Complete turnaround at half-time by Chelsea. Lucky not to be 2-0 down, but then absolutely bossed the 2nd half. Man City must be wondering what happened. JRK immense, Erin fantastic. Whole team stepped up. A great 45 minutes. And I’d say that’s now probably the WSL won
