Whether you’re an amateur #photographer or pro, I’d love to see “the shot” that says why you enjoy the craft. For me, this morning in #CorpusChristi is it. Didn’t plan it, but I had my camera and was way early heading to work. This lone seagull made my day, and he’ll be on my wall forever.

A little more moody than I usually post, but White Sands National Park offers quite a bit of drama. I absolutely plan to go back.

Stopped during a road trip to capture this. Tunas Peak in Pecos Co., TX used to be named Squawteat Peak and was nicknamed “Perky Breast Mountain” by an Austin reporter. The last shot is a 9-exposure pano, which makes it look more like a submarine.

BREAKING: Judge Cobb rules that the Pentagon's National Guard deployment into D.C. was illegal.

However, she has stayed the effect of her order until Dec. 11 to prevent disorder while the matter is under appeal.

I don’t know about other photo enthusiasts, but sometimes an image or an edit I know is counterintuitive makes me dig it more. The colors of this #Albuquerque morning and balloons were amazing. But once I went B&W more balloons became visible in the silhouette of the mountains.
