This week's art adventure included a visit to Jersey City's Art 150 Bay open studios where a collection of artists featured their work, some soothing, others downright provocative. #artistheway
Hinge’s new subway ad campaign explores romantic connections from the perspectives of each person, excerpts on the train with long form content on a dedicated Substack.
Some of my favorite things about living in a multiethnic, multigenerational city are the ambient neighborhood sounds from Shabbat sirens on Friday to church bells on Sunday and the Muslim call for prayers at night.
They seem to have been replaced by bitcoin abductions.

Robert Henri, Alice Neel's mentor, believed in the power of art to reflect the human experience in all its complexity and authenticity. I'm adapting his principle to my writing:

Write what you feel.
Write what you see.
Write what's real for you.
