May as well keep the name. Classical music, high school education, sport, cats, community, stuff, politics of the mostly local kind.

Bit late sharing, but the fact someone can win an election this way is both blood boiling and chilling.

Daniel volunteers were shouted at, spat on and stalked. They were told by police to travel in groups. I couldn't get it all in here.

And Wilson shows no remorse

'There are still people recovering from the trauma': The Goldstein campaign was worse than we thought
While the 2025 federal election inquiry has shown there was a clear rise in hostility at election booths around the country, Tim Wilson's electorate of Goldstein seems to have reached another level.

Watching this morning show while waiting for an appointment, it is super clear that Channel 7 really wants Barnaby Joyce to lead One Nation for their political content.
And so do these polled voters who clearly like him being on their TVs.

The Canberra Press Gallery loves nothing more than trying to bring down Ministers with non stories about expense spending. It is pathetic and embarrassing.
Seeing Barnaby on that Channel 7 morning show talking about it sent it into maximum cringe levels.

Specious bullshit from Greber. Costello was responsible for some of the greatest middle class ripoffs of all time - but sure, he had his staffers eat oatmeal while overseas that one time. www.abc.net.au/news/2025-12...
Expensive flights don't pass the pub test in the age of belt-tightening
How does a treasurer tell households the government will no longer continue a $300 energy rebate when it's happy to blow $100,000 on three flights?

The thing that continues to amuse me about the Sydney Morning Herald is that whenever they write a transport story, they only ever quote from one person, “Matthew Hounsell”, who has no title or position other than a researcher. Can’t they find anyone else to say “we’re the best!”

I love cricket. But I truly loathe all the content that is being dredged up for this upcoming Ashes series. It’s turning me off wanting to watch it.

The only question to ever ask when the Age produces pro-Liberal puff is whether it is Smethurst or Le Grand.
Such a shame for Fairfax that they pretty much irrelevant these days.

Seems like a good day to remind everyone that Jared Kushner advised Saudi Crown Prince MBS on how to “weather the storm” after his hit squad slaughtered American journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Trump clearly admires murderous regimes. But is America really that much different from Saudi Arabia?
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

I wonder if the journalists in the WH Press Pool have realized yet that Trump wishes he could do to them what MBS did to Khashoggi when they ask him questions he doesn’t like.
Reporter to MBS: "U.S. intelligence concluded that you orchestrated the brutal murder of a journalist..."

Trump: "Fake news...He's done a phenomenal job. You're mentioning someone who was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about…things happen."

It's not a "blow to the government" that this nation has large rump of reactionary dickheads opposed to any kind of response to climate change. Jesus Christ Massola is a clown.

A French cyclist survived for three days after a horrendous 130-foot fall into a ravine, kept alive by the bottles of red wine he had in his shopping bag, police said.

I didn't have to see the name of the journalist who would be ridiculous enough to suggest that Tim Wilson could "apply the blowtorch" to anyone.
I knew it had to be Sakkal.
