Seeing Brazilian institutions punishing Bolsonaro's attempted coup is a relief. But it is also chilling to notice that his comeuppance results from his conflict with the top echelons of the Judiciary, and not from his genocidal stance during the pandemic that generated so many deaths and suffering.
