Netflix buying WB is just another step forward into the enshittification of everything. I cancelled my Netflix subscription in 2022 after they cancelled yet another show I enjoyed and kept HBO Max because I felt like they tend to pick up projects they believe in and stick by them. Now idk

Perhaps now you all get why CGI Leia and Tarkin and even Luke (yeah I know MH is alive and well) were inappropriate and exploitative. Let humans age, let them pass away and let us mourn. Recast if you want to keep the character alive. You only own the character not the face and voice of the actor.

I’m gonna say it now. Everyone complaining about the new Wuthering Heights hates fun. There are so many faithful adaptations out there, if that’s what you want. Let this one do its thing.
