after a 3-4 year long ordeal i am almost at the point of getting prescribed ADHD meds and am really quite thrilled

I really wish I had just accepted that when almost every woman I knew practiced it personally and not deciding I was going to defeat the patriarchy all on my own

i'm very grateful to have been eventually given the proper support and climbing out now
but there are still nights, moments where things feel so heavy because the ppl who hurt you not only got away with it but prospered

it's been very disturbing to watch normal ppl go to a jhana retreat or two and come out as positivity zombies who have to publicly repeat 'focus on what you want to see more of' to themselves when something bad happens to ppl around them
