Project Silverfish by @siristhedragon.bsky.social is the first STALKER clone that not only understands what makes stalker so good, but also does its own thing and builds its own interesting world. its so good that i have no trouble looking past the art style. cant wait for early access soon!

If you are making an arena shooter, stop, make a unique and interesting shooter and add arena shooter mechanics to it. Don’t follow the arena shooter golden rules. Bend them and break them. Don’t make another iteration of quake 3 for the love of god. I would rather have something different and bad

ICYMI: Yesterday, we had a drawing stream to raise funds for the World Central Kitchen in support of victims of the LA fires, and I did art commissions for those who donated. We raised $180, and it was a really fun experience & I'm excited to host another!

Unreal Gold and Unreal Tournament can now be downloaded for free, Epic Games just gave the OldUnreal folks permission to host installers for both games on their website.
It'll install the games and the OldUnreal patches to make them run on modern systems without hassles.
