100% right. There is so much about this whole BBC saga that is simply mad but Lewis is right that the Corporation now has the chance to take a stand for something important. It should take that opportunity.
Have written for the New Statesman about why, if he will not accept an apology, the BBC should welcome a Trump lawsuit. They should show guts and fight it because impartially matters and if they don't, they will have tacitly accepted a rewritten history.

Trump's attack can rescue the BBC

Reporter: Do you know Nathan Gill?
Farage: Nathan who?
Reporter: Have you ever been a friend of former UKIP MEP, now former leader of Reform_UK in Wales, Nathan Gill?
Farage: Look I can't keep track of everyone I meet - I don't remember him.🤷‍♂️

In these photos of Farage, Nathan Gill and Cottrell, it's interesting that Gill has got a friendly hand on Cottrell's shoulder.

Cottrell is a convicted fraudster who is an expert in criminal money-laundering. Why was the Russian asset so friendly with the money-launderer?

Without addressing the supply of housing, The Tory policy of scrapping stamp duty will just put up prices. Instead of the government getting money for public services, developers and sellers will make more profit.

It does nothing to enable more home ownership. More garbage from the Tories.

Really, Reform UK? THIS is what you're going with? That this man, who served as an MEP next to Nigel Farage for years and was made leader of your party in Wales by current deputy, Richard Tice, is just "one of tens of thousands of people Nigel meets on an annual basis"?~AA

So to recap:

🟣Farage made Gill Welsh UKIP leader

🟣Gill left UKIP 2 days after Farage and has admitted to his first count of Russian bribery THE SAME DAY

💎Gill joined Brexit party and re-elected to Brexit Party during the bribes period

💎Gill made Welsh Reform UK leader

They’re the same party.

Literally.

It’s the same Companies House listing

So that clears up the “oh it’s a different party” nonsense👍🏼

There seems to be some *confusion*
among Reform supporters over Nathan Gill being one of them

“But, but, Reform didn’t exist when he took his Russian bribes”

“But, but he was in UKIP”

“But, but it has nothing to do with Farage, he barely knew the guy”

So here’s a little history lesson 👍🏼🧵

Questions that should be answered: Was Nigel Farage present in the chamber during Nathan Gill’s pro-Russian interventions. Did he discuss the contents of any of these statements with Nathan Gill? Did he ever meet with Oleg Voloshyn?

Many in the US will be unaware that Trump's state visit was arranged to start the day after the UK Parliament went into recess.
The highest honour a visiting politician can receive is not parades but to address Parliament.
Obama was given that honour.

Please... for the love of all that is good, do not share it on all your social media channels... because it simply wouldn't be done to remind the world of the association
