The Romans had an annual ghost exorcism holiday with certain laxative-related themes.

For just as beans cause the body to expel certain substances, they apparently do the same to unwanted household ghosts.

As seen in Cavendish’s “The Black Arts,” following Ovid.

Also, 3oo degrees make a complete circle and 360 reduces to 9. Ovid says in his Fasti that in Rome on certain days in May the ghosts of the dead were believed to return to their old homes. He took care not to look over his shoulder as the ghosts gathered up the beans and followed behind him. Then he ordered the ghosts to leave his house, saying nine times, 'Ghosts of my fathers, go forth.' Not until then was it safe for him to look behind him. Beans were used to purge the house of the ghosts, because beans have laxative qualities. To repeat the two sets of words nine times was to repeat them enough times, or all possible times.

Worth noting that their reports can contain whatever language and phrasing they'd like. It's JUST the grant application process that was messed up by DOGE. They can't enforce shit on a peer-to-peer level because all they did is mess up a process within a gov-hosted web portal.

They also want to force people to use the words "female" and "boy" or "girl"

The orgs instead using phrasing like "people with a uterus" or "people between the age of _ and _," otherwise they'd have to erase trans and nonbinary patients from pediatric study grant applications

One of my clients is a pediatrics researcher. He literally cannot get grants approved that contain the words "women" or "children" in them. They're automatically denied by an AI process. They can rephrase it and get the grants but it's still weird that they have to do that.

You can get GI symptoms and kidney issues if you're not absorbing it well.
Hydration and recovery periods are very important.
