99 is such a zero now. Back when I was a young hockey fan, I read his biography in one sitting. I was irrationally proud that he was Canadian. Dude disgusts me now. He can't even be bothered to pick up his own Order of Canada. He's chosen his new "team." They can have him.

This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.

Auschwitz took time.
