Probably thinking about infosec, bikes, skiing, or skating. Every day a step closer to being a codger. Dutch speaker, learning Spanish and Italian, lover of all things French. Ski instructor and hockey referee. Impatient Buddhist.

We spoke to dozens of survivors, read thousands of pages of court and police records, identified 200 alleged church abusers across decades.

Our investigation reveals a 50-year pattern of sex abuse, silence, complacency & cover-up in the world’s largest Pentecostal denomination.

Read it here:
Assemblies of God churches shielded accused predators — and allowed them to keep abusing children

Same country that thinks it's going to deter China through offensive cyber operations, btw.

Maybe the plan is to bamboozle China by having so much insecure infrastructure that they can't decide what to hack.

The commission’s Republican chair, who voted against the rules in January, calls them ineffective and illegal.

Lest you doubt a small group of thoughtful committed citizens can change the world, consider Keisha Mayuga: a young woman who improvised a kilometre-long pop-up cycle lane in Manila, sparking 500 kilometres of permanent infrastructure throughout the Philippines. theurbanactivist.com/mobility/com...
There is no sane explanation for why any military families should be on food assistance programs.

The real fight here is for fair wages for all and fair taxes on all.

Neguse: "Does anyone here not believe that with one phone call from Speaker Johnson -- one phone call to the president or the secretary of ag -- that those funds would be released tomorrow? And that families wouldn't go starving by the weekend?"
Luckily the bus stop was wearing a protective cover (helmet) but it was still his fault.

🔥 COACH SULLY: “Let’s see what $4.3 TRILLION looks like when each party gets their hands on it… the oligarchs are laughing all the way to the bank (with Republicans)…”
Any replacement electronic auto parts are going to be incredibly expensive with all these tariffs, so I’m betting that old vintage simple autos well rise in price.
Carburetors again anyone?

Ahhh, I've seen this film before. Josh Hawley puts out an op-ed staking out a position in The New York Times, then he folds and falls in line with the rest of the GOP. Remember when he did this with Medicaid?
Source of this data?

Cause it is shocking.
No matter what good things they’ve done in their lives, every citizen supporting the Republican Party at this point should be judged forever by how they continue to put Trump over their country.
I must be on an Italian train because I get to listen to three people simultaneously scroll their insta feeds with speakers on full blast. In first class seats. Oh to be deaf sometimes.
The whole thing loaded into large red white and blue trumpsters and hauled off to the landfill formerly known as the Trump golfcourse.

Back in the day, I was working a fire near a fancy ski resort. This was when $30 million homes were still unfathomable to me. This guy, who kept bragging that he had the President's personal phone number, came up and said he was going to write a check to pay for all the firefighter meals. 1/

Just for the record, in 2020:
- Wray was the FBI director Trump handpicked to replace Comey
- Jack Smith was in the Hague prosecuting Kosovo war crimes
- Garland was an appeals court judge
- Monaco was in private practice in LA

There was no Biden administration yet, crooked or otherwise.

He crazy.

Sorry, but it *is* unnerving. I agree with @rieckhoff.bsky.social that this idea that the military is Trump's personal muscle, and should kill anyone he points at, should be among the biggest stories in America right now.
Hey Tom, saw you on MSNBC earlier today.
That conversation was a bit unnerving.
I hope Willie Nelson lives long enough to christen the roof of the new White House concert hall with the children of the next president.

"wow i never would have predicted there would be a big scandal involving athletes and the mob when you legalized sports gambling" said no one ever
Are any democratic politicians on the national level paying attention to this?

Because this is how you do it.
In the audience tonight is Charlotte Bennett, one of the 13 women that Andrew Cuomo is credibly alleged to have sexually harassed while they worked in his government.

She can't speak for herself because Cuomo's lawyers have hounded her.

So I confronted him.
Just imagine all the cool stuff buried in the walls and under the floors of the White House. All of it shoveled into dumpsters and hauled off. We’ll never know what we lost.
