2nd video..Further dramatic seas from yesterday evening... Taken at the time of sunset... This was 1/2 hour before high tide..Not really big waves more the volume of water..It was a 6.97 metre high tide.

A fine sunny day with blue skies so I did some washing and put it on the line.....I can hear my gran say, with her arms folded beneath her bosom...."Nay lad...that'll never dry...wrong sort'o day...use yer common " ...... They are hanging there like damp rags... she is right too.

Three miles of empty beach..only two walkers, a single surfer and a dog in an orange fleece because it was a chilly 5°c.....The waves breaking threw off a fine mist of spray above them...Hanging like a translucent cloud above.... Magical.

I could hear the surf breaking, thundering, roaring on the beach from 500 yards away...I couldn't see it for the dunes but I could hear it...Then this as I got to a high point in the dunes...
