It amuses me to no end that of all the famous cereal brands, Frosted Flakes is the one cereal that can’t be trademarked, so all the off brand generic versions can still use the name without being sued.

Why does Microsoft Word go ballistic every time I type in "passive voice", but doesn't actually give suggestions as to how to rephrase the sentence to be active voice?

The fact that Protarchaeopteryx, which means "before Archaeopteryx", actually lived AFTER Archaeopteryx (The former was Early Cretaceous, the latter Late Jurassic), remains one of the greatest examples of misleading names in paleontology.
