I have been quiet and brooding the last few weeks as I contemplate myself. I think I realize a lot of my problems come from never wanting to burden others and that I fear if I am never not at 110% and pushing myself everyone I care about will leave because I will hinder them. (Cont.)

My time with a therapist and thinking on my own really showed me just how emotionally neglected/abused I was a child. I might not show it but I have abysmal self esteem, to the point an irrational but very real part of me thinks all my friends secretly hate me

I gotta hand it to Starship Troopers Terran Command, it does what a lot of RTSes struggle with and mixes up missions really well. That said though getting hit with the "run units through a timed gauntlet of ambushes", while certainly mixing up the gameplay makes me want to strangle someone
