Lets explain how escalating/manufacturing a military confrontation with Venezuela gives the administration a legal “hook” to invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, one of the oldest national-security laws still on the books. This statute allows a president to detain, restrict, or deport non-citizens

Finally have WiFi back after not having internet at home for a week and a half. Plus, with the snow, I get to work from home.

Which means, I’m about to spam all the BHB posts that I missed posting to bluesky this week. 💅

So I was kicked off Medicaid after going full time at my work and didn’t have insurance for a bit. Finally was able to get insurance from marketplace. Just got it in Nov- now they’re telling me my plan won’t be offered anymore and I need to get a new plan for January. >.< I hate it here.

My latest is a love letter to Chicago. "I see you stumbling through the stubborn, awkward rhythm of showing up, again and again. I see you fighting alongside people who sometimes frustrate and confuse you, and defending neighbors you may have never met, because you know they’re all your people."

I think a thing we'll learn tonight is that people fucking hate what is going on and they will straight ticket vote against anyone involved in starving people while pillaging the country and kidnapping their neighbors. I don't think it matters at all who that person is.

Just a reminder that if you have parents/family members who support you, your passions, your career, your side projects, etc… cherish that shit. Because there are so many out there whose family is such a fucking disappointment.

Cost to fund SNAP and keep 42 million people from starving:

$100 billion

Cost of lost revenue due to tax cuts for the richest Americans in the top 1%:

$100 billion
