So, I'm not saying we've been busy, but here's Daddy's calendar for taking us 3 (red) and Ally (blue) to appointments so far this year...

We didn't mark days where he had two vet appointments on the same day 😬🫣.
January - 8 days. February - 5 days. March - 10 days, April - 4 days, May - 8 days and June - 9 days

NiNaw's in a 'sharing the big bed with Ally' phase, and she's being exceedingly generous.

Last night, she let Ally use her (NiNaw's) white quilt & she did move that front leg enough to let Ally on to the edge.

We've been well quiet lately, but we're back and ready to face the New Year as we mean to go on: stocked up with treats, hoarding cuddly toys, and napping.

Ally lost NiNaw this morning.

Luckily though, NiNaw popped her head out of the bed, making her collar jingle.

Turning on the light revealed this...

Now, I wouldn't like to tarnish NiNaw's dognity, but...

Poorly toe bathing (#SLO) involves my mummy stirring a jug of disinfectant with NiNaw's paw whilst singing "stirring the pot, stirring the pot".

Bonus line tonight "cooking the leg, cooking the leg".

My pawrents took Dylan on a big family holiday with my siblings & niblings.

I've been a bit sad, off my food & whining quietly to myself at bedtime.

I did feel like a bit of Mr Ducky savaging today though.

Ally's treating the family to extracts from Dylan's vet history. Two of her favourites are:

Mummy said to Daddy just before taking us for a walk: if we have to try and save a dog from blowing away, make it Dylan.

Apparently I'm too shouty, and NiNaw's too expensive 😐.

Okay, so 𝑚𝑎𝑦𝑏𝑒 the fire on full is too hot for full body whippets...
The gas fire is on full flame, the brindle whippet has given up on sitting directly in front of it. His bottom with his back legs sticking out froggy style are the only things left in the fireplace dog bed. His top 2 3rds are well away from the furnace heat.

Our heating and hot water has been off since Friday. Thank goodness for our gas fire 🔥 🙌.

One moment I was turning to sit down, the next moment I was in a blanket cocoon. Quite tightly wrapped. Send food.
