This wasn’t a bad midseason. The cliffhanger is what’s going on with Hen and it wraps up part one of both Harry and chimneys arcs this season. It’s not bad just bc there weren’t any explosions 🙄

There were a few things I didn’t like on a writing standpoint but nothing major and the episode had some really great moments so overall pretty good

I don’t agree that the firefighter training storyline should have gone to May. I think she deserves more screen time for sure but there’s way more they can do with Harry. I think he’s the new s1 buck and puts Buck in the position of Bobby. Which is exactly what the show has built up to.
