Shit like this is going to linger in my mind whenever I visit another country from this point forward in my life.
I'd be embarrassed to disclose if I was an American visiting say Italy or UK there. Locals would rightfully condem my country, but I'd be heckled on their streets.

Please understand that all your favorite million-dollar IPs were created by artists that get nothing more than a typical company paycheck. They don’t get royalties on the sales and oft aren’t even rewarded with bonuses or anything for creating such a valuable brand.

Please understand that all your favorite million-dollar IPs were created by artists that get nothing more than a typical company paycheck. They don’t get royalties on the sales and oft aren’t even rewarded with bonuses or anything for creating such a valuable brand.

Instead we got Media Markt with a return policy where, e.g., a friend of mine could return a Gameboy game after 48 hours. So he bought and returned dozens of games after a maniacal speedrun. The clerks hated his guts.
